Shakespeare was one of the excellent play writers in English literature. You can never find someone telling you that he didn’t enjoy reading Shakespeare’s plays and stories. If you loved Shakespeare you will also love Prince of Persia says Jerry Bruckheimer, producer of the film. He firmly believes that his movie based on a video game will successfully appeal to audiences.
The film was already a talk of the town due to its unconventional plot and terrific stunts. Now even those who were interested in literature will flock to see this film. Jerry says that the film has something that we always saw in Shakespeare’s stories. Jerry said, “It's kind of a Shakespearean story we tell about these three brothers. One grew up on the streets and gets adopted by the king because in those days, when you had sons, they were inclined to assassinate the father to become king,” he further added, “By having this kid who could never be king in the palace, he was always protected. If the father died, they'd throw him out. That's the kind of Shakespearean part of our story.” This comment by producer of the film creates new category of audience who would now opt for watching Prince of Persia.
This much talked about film is releasing on 20th May 2010 in UAE. Most of the movie buffs in UAE want to watch it first day first show. Theatres are expected to fill in fast. Make sure that you book your tickets well in advance.
